My current body of work has been inspired by protection in nature, taking form and inspiration from cocoons, seed pods and nests, and informed by material exploration, working in ceramics, polymers, felt and metals and combining materials to produce an eclectic and diverse range of pieces.
Previous works have been inspired by topics as far reaching as local archaeological remains, cleaning and crumpets. Inspiration can come from the unlikeliest of places and all it requires is a spark to fuel the exploration in materials that can lead to unexpected places.
